Since yesterday was Earth Day, we thought it would be a good idea to share a simple way we can help you run your business like it’s Earth Day every day (Earth cakes not included). We’ve already covered big suggestions like allowing employees to work from home by telecommuting which saves fuel and boost productivity, but there’s an even simpler way for your business to get a little greener. According to the Environmental Protection Agency’s most recent study, 71.31 million tons of paper waste are produced every year in the U.S. Did you know you can help cut down on that number by using Internet Faxing, a service already included in many FreedomVoice virtual phone system plans? It’s convenient, easy to use, and good for the environment.
To send a fax, login to WebLink, click on Mailbox, then click Fax.
From there, you can upload any .gif, .htm, .doc, .docx, .pdf, .xls, .xlsx, .txt, .html, .ppt, .pptx, .rtf, .jpg, or .tif extension and fax it to up to 5 phone numbers at once.
The fax feature will let you fill out and preview a standard cover page before sending it to your recipients.
To receive a fax on your FreedomVoice number, simply turn off call forwarding and the fax will be delivered to your default mailbox in .PDF format.
If you have any questions about faxing using your FreedomVoice system, check out our online knowledge base or call customer care at 1-800-477-1477 ext. 2.
