FreedomVoice Donates Over $100,000 to Rady Children’s Hospital

Jennifer Williams

FreedomVoice is committed to serving both its customers AND the local community. We’re thrilled to share that this month FreedomVoice hit a huge milestone. We have now donated more than $100,000 to Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego!

In 2012, FreedomVoice developed a one-of-a-kind Customer Giving Program on behalf of Rady Children’s Hospital. Through the community-focused Customer Giving Program, FreedomVoice customers are provided with the option to add $1 to their monthly bill in support of Rady Children’s. FreedomVoice then passes those donations directly along to the hospital.

FreedomVoice CEO Eric Thomas commented on the company’s commitment to Rady Children’s, saying:

“Supporting our local community is an important aspect of FreedomVoice’s company culture. We support Rady Children’s Hospital because they provide the best care available to local children in San Diego and turn no one away. We want to be part of the solution to give these children the best, healthy start in life. We see these children as our future and we’re always looking for new ways to help them out.”

This October, FreedomVoice employees and their families will be walking in the 9th Annual Rady Children’s Hospital Family Walk. If you would like to help our walkers support Rady Children’s, click here.

About Rady Children’s Hospital:

Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego is a nonprofit, 520-bed pediatric-care facility dedicated to excellence in care, research and teaching:

  • Parents and children come to Rady Children’s from across the country to see nationally renowned physicians. Their focus on research, teaching and innovation is helping patients to receive state-of-the-art care.
  • They are the only hospital in the San Diego area dedicated exclusively to pediatric healthcare and the region’s only designated pediatric trauma center.
  • In October 2010, Rady Children’s opened their Acute Care Pavilion, making them the sixth largest hospital in the country. The facility helps to ensure that they will never turn a child away because our beds are filled.
  • Each year Rady Children’s provides care to nearly 197,000 patients, uses more than 276,000 diapers, gives out more than 176,000 Bugs Bunny bandages, and goes through 1,400 packs of crayons in their playrooms.
